Rochester Ecology Partners is excited to present our first published annual report for the 2023-24 fiscal year. We presented a balance of stories and statistics that represent the extraordinary impact of our work and the amazing community support that has made it possible.
The winter darkness seems particularly persistent this year and when we sit down to ask ourselves what we need to do to bring more light into everyone’s lives, the answer is always to keep doing what we are already doing. Together we are making good things happen!

Equinox Jam 2025
Support our work and have a good time at our Equinox Jam on March 22 from 7-10 at La Luna at High Falls.
This annual fundraiser has become a premier event for us and we are looking forward to seeing you there. Join us for live music, nature activities, light snacks (included in ticket), and a cash bar at one of Rochester’s best venues.
Salamanders and More – College Capstone Projects
We have six students from four colleges working on capstone projects with us this semester. The range of work they are doing with us include developing enrichment experiences for high school students, making maps that facilitate nature-based learning, and support with our accounting processes.
We are particularly excited about Alyssa’s Salamanders in the City Capstone project through her Sustainability program at St John Fisher. She is working with faculty across colleges to create a series of events and educational materials to connect everyone with these charismatic critters.
