Join us to find nature this winter by swapping plants, books, and conversation!
Nature can be found on a windowsill or in a good story. We will gather at the Arnett Library in the community room with books and plants that have been contributed by the community. Bring a plant or book to swap or come to find one.
We will meet at the Arnett Library from 10:00 AM – 1:00
PM on January 14. Come with plants and books to swap or just come to take some home. However you come, we want you here.
We will also be collecting donations for youth winter gear and programs. If you have extra hats, gloves, jackets, snow pants or any other gear that will keep children warm and dry outside please bring them.
This event is free, please consider making a donation of $5.00 to support our work when you register.
This event is facilitated by the Rochester Ecology Partners, a nonprofit dedicated to helping all people find nature where they live, work, and play. Contributions to this mission are welcome.
If there is anything we can do to support your participation, please reach out.
This event will be indoors. We expect anyone experiencing COVID-19 or who has come in close contact with anyone who has COVID-19 to stay home. Masks are optional and encouraged if they make you more comfortable.
