Join Us at the Play in Nature Event
We will have a table with information about Rochester Ecology Partners and activities that will give everyone a closer look at lichens, fungus, and algae at this community event organized by the City of Rochester’s Department of Recreation and Human Services.

To raise awareness about the upcoming Maplewood Nature Center, the Rochester Children’s Outdoor Bill of Rights (COBOR), and of opportunities for nature engagement in our city, the City of Rochester’s Department of Recreation is hosting its 2nd Annual Play in Nature event on Saturday, July 9th from 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Lower Maplewood Park (107 Bridge View Drive). This event will inform community members about different ways to access nature and opportunities for nature engagement right here in our City!
