The fall session will begin Spetember 13 and will end November 1. This 8 week session is open to everyone in grades K-3 on a first come serve basis with some spots reserved for families that need this program to cover their child care needs on Wednesdays.
The Neighborhood Nature Program is available to students in K-3 grades at Genesee Community Charter School on Wednesday afternoons from 12:45 – 2:45. This program will offer structured learning and free play activities. This program is operated by Rochester Ecology Partners in collaboration with the school.
The Neighborhood Nature program is a social emotional well being and academic enrichment program from Rochester Ecology Partners. We will engage students in nature based activities that are designed to cultivate their relationship to the natural world and their community. We will venture outside whenever possible, and bring nature into the school on days when outdoor activities are not possible.

Session 1: 9/13/2023 – 11/1/2023 (8 wks)
Session 2: 11/8/2023 – 1/10/2024 (8 wks)
Session 3: 1/17/2024 – 3/13/2024 (8 wks)
Session 4: 3/20/2024 – 5/29/2024 (10 wks*)
Cost: Sliding scale – Choose what fits your budget best from $320.00 to $10.00 for the 8 session program. (*$400.00 – $10.00 for session 4, which is 10 weeks). We ask you to choose an amount that fits your budget and supports the sustainability of the program. Payment is due by the start of the program and can be made through the online registration form, check, or cash. If you need to make arrangements for a flexible payment schedule please let us know.
Registration deadline: Registration opens August 10. Please register by the first session on September 14th. Registration is on a first come first serve basis.
You may withdraw your child at any point with a prorated refund for sessions not yet attended.
