Spring a a time of renewal and regeneration. Join us at the Acorn Shelter as we welcome spring to Durand Eastman Park on May 14 from 10:00 – 12:00.
The park will be alive with color from cherry, redbud, magnolia, and a variety of flowering trees. However you want to enjoy your time in the park, stop by to share it with Rochester Ecology Partners. We will have a guided walk and a few other activities for all to enjoy.
Stop by for park information, activities, and an opportunity to chat with your neighbors who enjoy spending time in the parks.
This event is organized to be accessible to all people. If you are someone who wants to spend time in the park on a spring day, this event is for you. Come alone or come with friends and family. Stay put and relax or explore the park. However you want to enjoy the park, we hope you’l consider including us. Reach out to let us know how we can help you participate.
This hike is facilitated by the Rochester Ecology Partners, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping all people find nature where they live, work, and play. Contributions to this mission are welcome.
This event will be outdoors and the risk of COVID-19 spread is relatively low. We will record the names and contact information of all participants and expect anyone experiencing COVID-19 or who has come in close contact with anyone who has COVID-19 to stay home. Masks are optional and encouraged if they make you more comfortable.
