We’re honored to share that Councilmember Mitch Gruber has made a generous $1,500 contribution to Rochester Ecology Partners through his discretionary city funds. We are incredibly grateful for his support and recognition of the importance of connecting young people in Rochester to nature, learning, and their community. His contribution will have a significant impact through our nature-based learning programs.

This contribution helps make it possible for us to connect children from around Rochester with innovative educational opportunities that integrate nature into lessons in a way that improves academic performance, wellness, and community development. These kinds of investments go a long way in ensuring that every child in Rochester has access to meaningful, hands-on experiences in nature—right in their own community.
We’re so grateful for Councilmember Gruber’s support—it shows his belief in the power of nature to bring people together and his commitment to tackling big challenges like poverty and inequality by strengthening the community from the ground up.
At Rochester Ecology Partners, we believe that connecting with nature shouldn’t be a luxury—it should be part of every child’s life. With support from leaders like Councilmember Gruber, we’re able to keep building a more connected, curious, and resilient Rochester.
Thank you again to Councilmember Gruber for believing in our mission to help connect all people to nature where they live, work, and play and investing in the future of Rochester’s youth.
