We are creating the community we need together.

The families that gather around the campfire for s’mores and hot cocoa with us are forming relationships that lead to stronger neighborhoods.

The children who find joy in spending a day outside with us are making connections that will serve us all well.

The neighbors and friends who contribute their time, talents, and treasure to facilitate the growth of Rochester Ecology Partners’ nature-based learning and community-building efforts are fostering the growth of the idea that we can accomplish more as partners.

As we enter this season of abundant appreciation and generosity Giving Tuesday creates an opportunity to share our gratitude and ask for your help.

When we talk about the 1000s of children we have engaged in nature-based learning this year or the multitude of natural spaces we have offered programs in we often have to stop to double check – Is this correct? Have we really done this much?

Yes, it is and we have. Our significant impact is due to your support and it is greatly appreciated. There are so many great things that have happened and we know that the only reason we have seen this level of success is because we have found a diverse community of people who are willing to share in their abundance. Thank you.

Thanks to you we have accomplished some incredible things in 2023.

  • We collaborated with the Rochester City School District to offer 700 students the chance to explore forests, fields, and flowing water in Ellison Park this summer.
  • For a second year, we are coordinating with multiple partners to integrate nature-based learning as a school-wide educational program at Anna Murray Douglass Academy School #12.
  • Our third annual nature-based learning symposium was offered to educators from across the region.
  • The community building events we have organized have brought 100s of people together through our shared connection to nature.

Thank you for your support.

In 2024 we are focusing our energy on the development of our organizational operations.

We have been growing quickly and recognize that if we are going to flourish into the future we need to make sure we have the people, places, and processes in place to support our programs.

We are seeking support that will allow us to grow our staff, build a solid operational foundation, and engage more people in our already successful programs. Your contribution will have value over the long term as it provides a foundation for future growth.

You can help us grow.
